Privacy fence screen is a type of tarp that is used to block a percentage of wind and visibility through a fence. Installing a windscreen will improve appearance and security for both residential and commercial applications. Our custom size, made-to-order privacy screen tarps are often used on chain link fences found around apartments, ball fields, backyards, buildings, construction sites, patios, schools, soccer fields, and tennis courts.

All privacy screens from Lookout Mountain Tarp are custom built to match the specifications of your order. Regardless of the fabric type selected, the tarp will feature a 2-ply hem that is reinforced using 2" wide heavy duty polypro webbing, sometimes referred to as tape. This webbing is attached using two rows of our black 277 polyester bonded thread which features a 44 lbs. breaking strength that is nearly double the industry standard. In the corners, as well as about every 24" around the hem, #2 brass locking spur grommets will be machine punched through the hem for extra strength.

Wind screens are typically ordered 4" shorter and 4" narrower than the inside dimensions of the fence. This gap allows for easy installation using zip ties. Tarps up to 68" tall will feature seamless construction with a 2" hem around all four sides. Tarps 69" to 136" tall will feature one full 68" panel plus a second panel to match the height of the order. In-between these two panels will be an additional row of grommets that will be needed to properly secure the tarp to fences over 6' tall.

This 9-ounce vinyl coated polyester tex mesh is our go to fabric for sport fields. The 80% shade rating is a happy medium air flow and visibility with a matte finish that is perfect for applying graphics. The rigid polyester base has little to no stretch which allows tarps to be built within tight tolerances for fences that require notches or have unique shapes. It comes on a 72" roll which allows for seamless construction for most fences, but when necessary, it can be assembled using heat sealed seams which are virtually invisible. Our 9oz vinyl coated tex mesh privacy screens are available in black, blue, green, red, yellow, and white.

• Easy to Install: Unfold the shade green mesh tarps completely and use the grommets to secure the mesh tarp by use of zip ties, rubber ties, or any form of secure tie-down you see fit. Please make sure all points are secure.

• Lightweight Coverage: 70% Shade coverage while still being able to see through the tarp for security and safety purposes.

• VERSATILE: A sunshade mesh tarp has many uses. These tarps can cover loads that need to breathe but can't be trapped under direct sun light, like tree, bush or sand. Shade green mesh tarps can be used to cover greenhouse for plants outdoor, patio shades roll up outdoor, pool cover, porch screen, balcony privacy screen. Mesh shade tarps can also be used to create an awning, tent, or interior cab lining that can block out harsh direct light while still letting in some air.

• EASY-TO-USE: Our mesh shade tarps have brass grommets spaced every two feet around the perimeter. The grommets are compatible with any ⅝ inch thick twine, cord, or wire rope you might use to set up or anchor the tarp.

Cut Size vs Actual Size for MESH Tarps:

• All our MESH tarps are hand made and cut-size is going to differ from the listed size by upto 2% or 6".
• We strive to get as close as possible to the actual size but this is often impossible due to different fabric stretching and machines involved in the manufacturing process.
