Surface Treatment and Structural Details
To ensure the tarpaulin can withstand various external forces and be easily secured during use, the following special treatments are applied to its edges and critical areas:
Edge Reinforcement: All edges are reinforced with PP rope binding, and the four corners are further strengthened with multiple layers of reinforcement. This significantly enhances the tear resistance of the tarpaulin edges, preventing damage when subjected to tension.
Fixing Point Design: Along the edges of the tarpaulin, rust-proof aluminum grommets (metal eyelets) are typically placed every 1 meter (approximately 3 feet). These grommets facilitate quick and secure fastening using ropes or hooks.
Corner Reinforcement: For tarpaulins within a certain weight range (e.g., 100 g/m² to 260 g/m²), the four corners are reinforced with plastic triangular patches. This is the area where stress is most concentrated, and reinforcement effectively prevents corner tearing and extends the service life.
